So why SmartSuite?
For a relative newcomer to the market, SmartSuite has built an impressive following of like-minded users – we have a real dislike for complicated, fussy software which needs someone well-versed in digital mechanics to get it to suit the needs of the company.
SmartSuite has a no code approach, which is a real bonus to the majority of small business users out there. If you are like me, you just want it to work, automate the tedious and repetitive daily tasks, and keep you (and your team) up-to-date on where each project is at one time.
As a SmartSuite Consultant, we’d be happy to give you an overview using our demo account, but I’d suggest starting by having a look at their overview video. If you like what you see, it might well be worth heading over to SmartSuite, registering for an account and having a look around.
You have a time-limited trial of their full system, so you can see what it’s like, have a look at their pre-built templates and generally take it for a test drive.
We’re here to fill in the gaps as necessary!
In the meantime, these are my five main reasons for recommending – and using! – SmartSuite:
- 1
Efficient business operations:
Smart suite provides a suite of integrated software solutions, including tools for accounting, customer relationship management (CRM) and human resources management. Small businesses can streamline their operations by centralising key functions in one platform, which saves time and reduces manual data entry. - 2
Scalability:
Small businesses often start with tight budgets but have aspirations to grow. SmartSuite solutions are typically designed to scale with the business, allowing companies to add more users, features, and modules as they expand, without the need for a complete software overhaul. Most importantly, they have a free starter plan and while limited in functionality, it can start you on the journey, though the Team Plan is well worth $10 a month (approx. £8). - 3
Data insights and analytics:
SmartSuite software includes robust reporting and analytics features. Small businesses can gain valuable insights into their financial performance, customer behaviour, and employee productivity. This dated driven approach can help in making informed decisions and identifying areas for improvement. - 4
Enhanced customer engagement:
Many SmartSuite solutions include CRM tools that enable small businesses to a better manage customer relationships. They can track customer interactions, segment their audience for targeted marketing campaigns, and provide personalised service, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction and retention. - 5
Time savings:
Small business owners and employees often wear multiple hats and have limited time. SmartSuite can automate repetitive tasks such as invoicing, payroll processing, and on boarding. This automation frees up valuable time that can be better spent on strategic activities, business growth, and customer engagement.
And before you ask, yes I use SmartSuite. I use it because my small business needed something like a CRM but without the crippling subscription costs and frankly, overly complicated interface. I needed a customisable solution that, once set up, could act like a part-time assistant.
I love it. It does exactly what I want to do right now and I know it will scale with the business as our needs change.
Oh and I became a certified SmartSuite Consultant.
